Artist: Femi Kuti

Popularly known as Femi Kuti, Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti is a Nigerian musician and the eldest son Fela Kuti, the pioneer of the African music afrobeat sound. Femi was born on 16 June 1962 in London to Fela and Remi Kuti and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. After his parents separated, Femi moved in with his father in 1977 and eventually became a member of his band. Femi later created his own band - Positive Force and in 1988, kick-started his international career which was to see him release hits such as “Beng Beng Beng”.
