Born Naima Said Ibrahim in Comoros, Naïma is a daughter to afro-zouk singer Chamsia Sagaf. Naïma became acquainted with music at a very young age due to exposure from her mother with whom she collaborated on her 2002 album “Loléya”. In 2004, at just 20 years, Naïma released her first album "Reviens". The album was very well received by zouk music lovers and went on to be very successful due to songs such as its title track “Reviens”. Naïma sings in Comorian and French, writes her own lyrics and continues to release hit songs that live up to the Sagaf zouk African music legacy.
