Maroon Commandos is musical group from Kenya, formed in 1970 by bandleader Habel Kifoto. It is a military band belonging to the 7th battalion of the Kenyan Army and based at the Langata Barracks in Nairobi. A year after their formation, the group released the hit song “Emily”. However, in 1972, following a tragic road accident, the band became dormant. Five years later, the band rose again to release a new album, and later the song "Charonyi Ni Wasi
