Rumba

Soukous is a dance music genre that originated in the countries of Congo Brazzaville and Democratic Republic of Congo during the 1930s and early 1940s. "Soukous" - a derivative of the French word secousse, which means "shake", is an African music dance version of rumba. Typical soukous instruments include finger style guitar, acoustic bass, drums and brass.
