Longombas are an afropop duo from Kenya, consisting of twins Christian and Lovi Longomba. The twins began their career in African music at the age of 13, an early start that was inspired by their musical family. Their father Lovy Longomba was a member of Super Mazembe, their grandfather Vicky Longomba was a member of Franco's TPOK Jazz band, while techno-soukous artist Awilo Longomba is their uncle. The group made their debut in 2002 with club bangers such as "Shika More" and "Vuta Pumz".
